Offered is a Mid 20th Century figurative table sculpture in hand carved Cherry wood on an Oak wood base. Depending on the viewing angle, it appears to be a bust or torso, with curved hips and crossed legs, the carved notches representing ribs and spine. Both heavy and stately, the wood has been lathed and polished to a smooth and buttery finish. The artist's carved initials are etched on the bottom rear of the sculpture, see detailed images. Measures 6" wide, 4.75" deep, 15" tall with base, base is 1.25" tall without base 3.75" wide, 3" deep. 13.75" tall
