Royal Copenhagen Blue Flower Braided Cups and Saucers. This is a set of four(4). Model number 10/8261. The saucers are marked in gold lettering "Made for E.F. Hutton." The cups have no reference to E.F. Hutton. The backstamp of both the cup and saucer date the manufacture between 1985-1991. An interesting note is 1987 was a terrible year for the once dominant, leader E.F. Hutton and after the 1987 stock market crash, E.F. Hutton had to be sold to Shearson Lehman / American Express. Things did not go well and the name E.F. Hutton was abandoned in 1990. The name would not stay dead. It has been revived twice and is back in business. If you have been around this world a few minutes, you might remember the t.v. commercials for E.F. Hutton. The catch-phrase was, "When E.F. Hutton speaks, people listen," and everybody in the room would bend an ear towards the E.F. Hutton guy. E.F. Hutton's 5th Law was that when leaders speak, people listen. The cups measure: 3.14" x 2.68" Saucer diameter: 5.7" All pieces are in excellent condition. No chips, cracks, or flea bites.
