Gorgeous and super scarce, British Bowmont Merino raw fleece. A super fine, super soft fleece. Approx 2.5 to 3 inch staple but varying with the fleece. This fibre is extremely dense and so keeps any veg matter or dirt, in the tips. So it needs gentle and careful processing and handling. I tend to comb out the tips a lock at a time and then wash, it's utterly soft, the softest most brilliant white fleece I have come across, and in a very limited quantity. When these are gone, that's it! This fleece is extremely difficult to source and as such I only have limited quantities available until next year. Purchasing this fleece you also help to support the survival of this breed in the UK. This is useful for spinning, weaving, felting or many other crafts.
