Petticoat, White Cotton with Deep Lace Frill; Unknown maker; 1900

This is a white cotton petticoat with a deep frill, consisting of three rows of pintucks, two rows of inserted crochet lace, and a hemline of scalloped crochet lace. At some stage there has been a repair made to strengthen the seam beneath the placket opening.
