Knuckles the Echidna is the tritagonist of the anime OVA Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie. He is an anthropomorphic echidna and is known as a lonely traveler and treasure hunter. He is also a long-time friend of Sonic the Hedgehog and Tails. He was voiced by Bill Wise in the English version, and by Yasunori Matsumoto in the Japanese version. Knuckles is an anthropomorphic red echidna, with a peach-colored muzzle and black nose, has a crescent-shaped patch of white fur on the chest and purple eyes.
