He has a 145-73 record and .665 winning percentage throughout his collegiate coaching tenure, which included stops at Oklahoma State and Kansas. Coaches are required to have a .600 career winning percentage in at least 100 games to qualify for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame.The vacated wins would drop Miles' career winning percentage to .597 with an overall record of 108-73. A football coach is eligible for nomination into the hall of fame three full seasons after they retire. After the waiting period, the National Football Foundation assesses their candidacy.The 69-year-old Miles parted ways with Kansas in March 2021 after the school put him on administrative leave amid accusations of inappropriate behavior toward female students.
