This gorgeous fabric is not deadstock; it is an end-of-line design by Poppy Europe and is part of my Bargain Fabrics collection.Very lovely viscose dressmaking fabric with good stretch in the horizontal direction - none in the vertical direction - with a William Morris-style floral print in pinks, ochre and blue on a blush pink background by Poppy Europe - gorgeous! It's a bit heavier than a standard viscose at 180g/m2, and has a slight twill feel to it - it's a really beautiful fabric! A high-quality, soft, smooth and refined European fabric, it's perfect for dresses, blouses, shirts, skirts, shorts and trousers, as well as craft projects and outerwear such as summer jackets.N.B. Like absolutely all viscose fabrics, it will shrink a bit on the first wash, so do factor this in when you buy.
